“I drive an older cargo van which started a leak which I knew was power steering. I appreciated that they were able to inspect it within the hour I had left it with them. While with them I also wanted the exhaust checked out. Their were a couple repairs they were able to complete rather than try to sell new exhaust system to me. That impressed me the most. Fix what needs fixed rather than pushing for expensive full replacement orders. The cost was much less than I expected and have experienced in the past. Nice way to run a business and definitely will return the next time I need work done.”

“I was told by my dealer that my rear breaks were in need of replacement. I was lead to believe the replacement was needed prior to winter. Between cost and the young age of the car, I felt a second opion was in order. My mother, a long time Tuffy customer, suggested I take my SUV here. This was my first experience here. I was extremely impressed with their kindness, honesty and professionalism. For this reason I will be back. Upon the free brake inspection, I was told my brakes were not in any apparent danger at this time. Further, I was told of the longevity that my brakes could still sustain. “I needed a couple of bulbs replaced so I pulled into Tuffy without having an appointment. I asked them if they would have time to replace the bulbs. I fully expected them to say no because they were completely full but without hesitation they said they had time to complete the repair. Within 5 minutes they were working on the repair and about 5 minutes after that I was on my way. I was impressed! “I took my van in to Tuffy because it was veering to the left. I was referred by the place I take the van to for other issues. I wasn't thrilled with taking there because it used to not be very good. As soon as I gave Mike, the owner or manager, the name of my normal place, the first thing he said was, "They're good people over there." I thought that was refreshing! They did the front end alignment but the van was still veering to the left so Mike gave me some options of what they could do. They rotated the tires to see if that fixed the problem. As I was sitting waiting for my van to be done, another customer came in for a problem with her brakes. Tuffy could not find anything wrong with them. I thought to myself, Wow! A place who doesn't just say, yeah, this, this & this is wrong with the brakes & we have to fix them for an exorbitant about of money. If my normal place can't fix something on my van, I will for sure bring it back to Tuffy!!”

“I came to Tuffy after I found a Groupon for an oil change. The Gahanna location was closest to me. I made my appointment online. I think I requested an appointment on a Monday or Tuesday and they were scheduling on the upcoming Friday or Saturday so not too long to get an appointment. Drop off was easy. They didn't give me any issue ab accepting the Groupon. My appointment was at 3pm. I was done right about 4pm. I was just waiting for them to tell me I need this that and this (making my bill very expensive. There was no such issue. I ended up paying an extra 4.50$ which was fine with me. Usually whenever I have anything done to my vehicle I'm given a laundry list of things that "need" done. I was so happy there was no pressure to do any additional services. I would and will definitely go back to Tuffy the Gahanna location. Thank you guys! ”

But last year I met Mike and he has turned things around!
